Garner, a paramedic, is tasked with watching his niece, Lara, while her sister is on vacation. After breaking his leg, Garner’s friend Anarose, a nurse, steps in to help. They pretend to be in a relationship to keep Lara’s mother from cutting her trip short. As they spend time together, Garner and Anarose grow closer, but their deception causes tension with Garner’s family. Ultimately, Anarose decides to stay in Holly Valley, and she and Garner begin a real relationship, healing their families and finding happiness together.
A HOME FOR CHRISTMAS
Kady reluctantly returns to her small hometown of Vine Grove after a disastrous stint in California. Running into old friend Editon, she confides in him about her struggles and accepts his offer to help. He secures her a job at a local wine shop, and through a series of unexpected events, including a snowstorm and a surprising revelation about Editon’s wealth and generosity, they fall in love. Editon offers Kady and her son Noah a place to live, and with Noah’s help, they renovate a portion of his large house into an apartment. Editon’s unexpected proposal at the town’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony, where all their friends and family surprise her, marks a new beginning for Kady. She finds love, a home, and a sense of belonging in the very place she initially dreaded returning to.
